Your Information. Clearly Explained.
This policy explains how Multi Tech Auto Repair collects, uses, retains and discloses information when you use our website, communicate with us or receive services from our shop.
LAST UPDATED: SEPTEMBER 14, 2026Information We Collect
When you submit a Request an Appointment or Request an Estimate form, we may collect your name, telephone number, email address, vehicle year, make, model, mileage, vehicle identification number (VIN), license plate number, appointment preferences, service needs, vehicle symptoms, repair concerns, uploaded photographs or documents, and required acknowledgments or consent.
If you become a customer, we may also maintain inspection and diagnostic findings, estimates, repair orders, invoices, approved, postponed or declined work, vehicle photographs and videos, warranty and repair history, communications, and communication preferences.
Submitting an appointment form requests an appointment but does not confirm one. Submitting an estimate form does not constitute a diagnosis, final estimate, or repair authorization. We do not collect payment-card information directly through the website.
Our hosting and security providers may automatically process technical information such as your IP address, browser and device type, operating system, requested pages, access date and time, referring page, and security, performance or diagnostic information.
Please Do Not Submit Unnecessary Sensitive Information
Please do not upload or enter payment-card information, Social Security numbers, driver’s-license images, financial-account credentials, medical information, or other sensitive information that is not reasonably necessary for us to review your vehicle or service request.
If unnecessary sensitive information is submitted, we may remove or delete it after discovery, subject to applicable security, legal, and recordkeeping requirements.
How We Use Personal Information
We use personal information to review and respond to requests; identify customers and vehicles; confirm appointments; prepare or discuss estimates; provide inspections, diagnostics, maintenance and repairs; maintain customer, vehicle, warranty and repair records; reopen previously declined or postponed work; process transactions; respond to privacy requests; protect our systems and business; prevent fraud and misuse; and comply with legal, insurance, accounting, tax and warranty obligations.
We may also send service reminders, follow-ups, review requests and other communications related to our relationship with you, as well as promotional communications where permitted by law and consistent with your communication preferences.
We do not use information submitted through the website for materially unrelated purposes without appropriate notice or consent when required.
Website Form Processing
Our Request an Appointment and Request an Estimate forms are processed through Formspree. Formspree may receive, process, store and transmit the information and uploaded files included with your submission so the request can be delivered to Multi Tech Auto Repair.
Form notifications and customer communications may also be processed through our business email services, including GoDaddy email forwarding and the Yahoo mailbox designated to receive business communications. These providers may process information on our behalf to transmit, receive, store, protect and manage communications.
Point-of-Sale and Customer Records
When an estimate request becomes a customer or vehicle record, the information may be entered into and retained in Tekmetric, our point-of-sale and shop-management system. The record may include contact and vehicle information, estimates, recommendations, approved, declined or postponed work, inspection and diagnostic information, repair orders, invoices, warranty history and communications.
If you do not approve or respond to an estimate, we may mark or close it as declined while retaining the record. We retain this information to maintain an accurate vehicle and service history and assist you if you return later. Retaining a declined estimate does not authorize the work or permit repairs to be performed.
Customer Communications and MyShopManager
Tekmetric is integrated with MyShopManager, a customer-communication and marketing service. MyShopManager may receive customer contact, vehicle, estimate, service, repair and communication information from Tekmetric so that we can provide estimate and service follow-ups, reminders, customer-service communications, review requests, repair information, and promotional messages where permitted.
Promotional text messages are sent only where permitted by applicable law and subject to customer preferences and any required consent. You may opt out of promotional texts by following the instructions in the message, such as replying STOP. You may opt out of promotional emails through the unsubscribe instructions or by contacting us.
Opting out of promotions does not prevent communications reasonably necessary to respond to a request, discuss an appointment, estimate, inspection, repair, warranty, safety, payment or legal matter, or confirm an opt-out. We may retain a suppression record so your preference continues to be honored.
Website Hosting
Our website is hosted using OpenAI Sites and supporting Cloudflare infrastructure. These providers may process technical information required to deliver, operate, protect, monitor and troubleshoot the website, including IP addresses, browser and device information, requested pages, access times, and security or diagnostic information.
Service Providers and Other Disclosures
We may disclose personal information to providers that support website hosting and security, website forms and uploads, business email and communications, point-of-sale and shop management, customer follow-up and marketing communications, payments, accounting, warranties, insurance, professional services, data storage and information security.
We may also disclose information when required by law; to protect customers, employees, our business or others; to investigate fraud, misuse or security incidents; or in connection with a merger, financing, sale, transfer or reorganization of the business, subject to applicable law.
We do not sell personal information for money and do not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.
External Websites and Services
Our website may link to services operated by others, including Google Maps, Google business or review pages, social-media platforms, YouTube, and payment or financing providers such as Affirm, Sunbit, Klarna and Synchrony.
Our website includes interactive 3D models and augmented-reality features provided through an embedded viewer operated by Placewize.com. The viewer is available in the homepage Top Services module and on individual service pages.
When the viewer loads, your browser or device connects directly to Placewize to retrieve and operate the interactive content. Placewize may receive technical information ordinarily transmitted during that connection, such as your IP address, browser and device type, operating system, requested viewer content, access date and time, and security, performance or diagnostic information. Placewize’s handling of information is governed by its own privacy terms and practices.
On compatible phones and tablets, selecting an augmented-reality feature may cause your browser or device to request access to the camera, motion sensors, orientation information or spatial-tracking features. These permissions are controlled by your browser and device. You may deny a permission or revoke it through your browser or device settings, although doing so may prevent the augmented-reality feature from operating.
Multi Tech Auto Repair does not require you to use the 3D or augmented-reality viewer to review our services, request an estimate or schedule an appointment.
When you follow an external link, the other organization’s privacy policy and terms govern its practices. Multi Tech Auto Repair does not control the privacy, security, availability or content of external services.

Retention periods vary by record and applicable legal, warranty, accounting, security and operational requirements.
When information is no longer reasonably necessary, we may delete, anonymize or securely dispose of it in accordance with our record-management practices.
Your Privacy Choices and Requests
You may ask us to provide information about personal information we maintain about you, correct inaccurate information, delete information where appropriate, stop promotional communications, or update communication preferences. We may need to verify your identity before completing a request.
A deletion request may be denied or limited when retention is reasonably necessary to complete or document a transaction or service; maintain repair, warranty, accounting, tax, insurance or legal records; address a dispute, claim, fraud concern or security matter; document an opt-out; or comply with another legal obligation.
